Saw this on my Xbox dashboard, under the same blue Toyota Prius ad thumbnail
as the great MS points text message promo the other week http://slickdeals.net/forums/show...=263 3371). I snapped a pic with my phone off my TV of my avatar, emailed it. Received this email response two minutes later:
"Thank you for participating in the Xbox LIVEs Prepare your Avatar for Prius
to Win Offer. If you are one of the first 1,000 participants, you will
receive 400 Microsoft Points via e-mail following the end of the offer.
Regards, Promotion Administrator"
You can text message it too, but I can no longer see the promo on my
dashboard to find the number to list here, maybe because I already entered
my submission from the email associated with my Windows Live ID associated
with the Xbox Live account I was logged into. If someone finds the text
message number in their dashboard ad, please update it to the wiki. It seems
like you can just send in any avatar pic from a google image search if you
are in a hurry. We wont be able to tell if multiple submissions can be
redeemed by one person with many emails/phone numbers til its over I guess,
but on the last one people were getting 800 points per phone number not
including Google Voice, etc. It took a few hours for the last one open to
2000 text message entrants to run out with the SD effect, dont know how long
this promo has been going, good luck.
