Not much RAM, I'm assuming that there are 2 slots, and 1 is filled with the
512 mb. So filling the other with a 2 GB stick would make this usable. Find
a good deal on a portable usb drive 320 GB or greater, rip out the HD from
the crappy case, replace the 40 GB drive in this, and now you've got
something that might last you.
