If you have purchased from Living Social, check your Credit Card activity
NOW.
I and several other members have seen fradulent charges on our Credit Cards
after dealing with Living Social (reference: http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/4...?#comments)
Living Social is the only place I had used this card recently and the fact
that many others are having the experience, I'm having a hard time
dismissing that Living Social has either disseminated the card information
or they were hacked. Either way, I'll never order again.
My CC company's fraud department detected the questionable charges and
stopped all activity (what really tipped them off was that Zappos.com called
the fraud department because they saw a large discrepancy between the
shipping/billing address).
[PS: I know it's not a Hot Deal, but I believe most Slickdealers will see it
this way].
