Went to home depot today and was looking for gu10 bulbs and found these. I'm
entertaining replacing the fixture for one that uses gu5.3 just so I can
use these bulbs. They had 10 left on the shelf when I got there (not anymore
.) Made by Philips and are rated for 20 years. They run on 12 volts and use
4 watts, and replace 20 watt halogen MR16. The "soft white" light are $4 and
the "cool white" were $19. HUGE savings if you can use gu5.3 fittings. On
that note, anyone know where I can get a bronze colored track light that
will use these bulbs? Uploading pic in a minute.
