w*******y 发帖数: 60932 | 1 I accidentally discovered that the Puritan's Pride "hidden sale" that is
described here (up to 50% off + free shipping) actually stacks with the
current B1G1 or B2G3 promotion at Puritan's Pride. This is for SELECT ITEMS
ONLY that you can find through bing that are advertised with a sponsored
link on that site, so YMMV.
to Vapno for the info provided here. If you get this to work, rep him/her
as well.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTES to prevent people from yelling at me:You can only buy a
single class of items (e.g., antioxidants) in one purchase -- if you go
back to bing and shop for something else, you will lose the discount on the
original product in the cart. To solve this, just place multiple orders for
different items.
If you cannot find a link on Bing that describes a discount, you cannot get
the extra percentage discount. So, this applies to certain items only.
Plus, not every sponsored link will yield an extra percentage discount (e.g.
, searching "Vitamin" doesn't appear to yield an extra discount even though
a sponsored link is present, but "Vitamin C" does).
It may say $4.95 shipping when viewing the cart, but this will change to FS
upon checkout.
The web site may encourage you to select their B3G4 promotion, but if you do
the math that's actually WORSE than B2G3. You can double the B2G3 to get
B4G6, etc.
Do this:
Go to Link:
http://shopping.bing.com
and search for something. I used "Antioxidant Supplement"
Look for the sponsored link, at the top or right side, for puritan. The
link will describe either a certain percentage off OR a B1G1 or similar
promotion.
Click through the sponsored link to the Puritan's Pride web site. You will
see that the items show up as B1G1 and B2G3 combined with the percentage
discount.
Add product to the cart.
Checkout. You will see the percentage discount in the cart along with free
shipping.
For example, I purchased 5 of the 100-count "Maximum Antioxidant Formula" (#
007231) for $25.98 with FS. This was using a Bing link that described a 40%
discount; it actually came through as 50%. Under the current B2G3
promotion, this would have cost me $51.98 plus $4.95 shipping.
According to the other thread, here are some other search times that yield
percentage discounts - I've tried a couple of them, and they combine with
B1G1 and B2G3:
Vitamin C
Vitamin D
Glucosamine
Niacin (20% only)
"Vitamin" does NOT appear to work
