the best deal at Abe's of Maine for $488.95 + Free Shipping. I bought it in
"Storm-Trooper White" but they offer black and red, as well. It's the
standard kit package with the 18-55mm kit lens. They have upgrade packages,
etc. Anyways, thought I'd share since this is better than the other Pentax K
-x deals I've seen on here.

This camera is a high-entry to mid-level dSLR. The sensor in this camera is

(this is like 3DMark but for SLR sensors!).
Note about Abe's of Maine. They have awesome prices and I've bought a lot of
stuff from them over the years. They don't show up in a lot of price
searching engines. They have very good service. HOWEVER, they have a nasty
habit of calling you the next day to see if you want to purchase more. This
isn't such a bad thing, as they will actually suggest better deals than on
their web site. But, I'm just warning you now.
