hour in capsize recovery.

It is lots of fun. It is a skill enjoyable for life time and get better with
more experience.
Overwhelmed by many termonologies never used in life before in the 1st and
2nd lessons. Much better after reading the book and continuted through the
4th lesson...

What kind of boat is it? The problem with a sailing activity is that such a boat can only take 6 - 10 people for safety.
Potomac is not very good for sailing because of the wind and its shasow depth. Wind in the summer can only be prayed for and cannot be planned on. I may go to OC this weekend. Does any one know where to learn surfing there? Otherwise, I'll work on my windsurfing. |

发帖数: 44 | 6 the boat used in the lesson is 19' flying scot, a very popular sailboat
which can hold 2-5 persons. the boat is for sailing not for cruising. At
least 2 people on the boat need to be very experienced. Not sure if it's
good for casual fun activities.
sailing is a great fun actually. even in summer Potomac river is a bit quiet
but at least during the past two weeks, we had pretty decent wind condition
. If you want to try something more similiar to windsurfing, they have small
sailboats which can

预订了周日7-5， 12-4pm Flying Scot 19' 帆船.
只需一个有点力气帮我拉绳升帆的，其他的可以递茶倒水，欣赏两岸景色当船客。 船上最多6
个人。

off G.Washington Parkway; direction: http://www.washingtonsailingmarina.com
Parking is free. (Do not go into the renter only area with a guard). Walk
to the docks with cranes by the river. If needing carpool, let me know. I
drive from Reston, VA.
