Operas are always expensive.

My friend told me generally the $50 ticket I bought (Orch-Price Level 1) is
worth $200. This is for a special program(Young Artist), so the price is so
low. It's only for Mar.15, 2011.
I have bought the ticket. My seat is k-114. Pretty middle and front. If
anyone bought ticket for that day, we can go together.

instead of the established opera stars which is why the price is much lower.
Your ticket is probably not for the same performance.
The young Chinese tenor, Zhang Yingxi, was in the National Opera's "Young
Artists" program taught by Domingo. He is quite famous in China now. Too bad
he just returned to China otherwise I may buy tickets if he's cast in this
production. My mother wants to see him performing.

for years, and I know that there is no cheap opera. In this case, there is
no comparison because they are not the same one.
