发帖数: 183 | 4 Right, you are assigned dynamic IPs, I think they have a
IP assignment management kind of thing to do auditting and accouting.
Once I tried to put in a switch and let my two computers all connect
at the same time, but finally find out that won't work unless my account
are authorized to use two of their IPs(pay $15 per month for that extra
IP). Use a router is another story, you can connect a bunch of your
computers through the router using private IPs.

我想装两个网卡再我的接road runner 的机器上，然后把另一台机器（10。23。0。2）
接再这台机器上，然后从10.23.0.2设置上route,这样就能出去了，问题是，出去后看到我的10。2
10。23。0。2 的packet 的 ip 是 另外一台机器的ip 吗？

not sure. Bottom line is if you are using their IPs, like 66.75.100.1 and
66.75.100.2, then they are free to charge you money for using their IPs.
But if you are using private IPs inside your home network, that's none of
the ISP's business. Actually the technical support of my ISP say it's ok
to use your own router to let a few computers share a public IP.
