发帖数: 120 | 1 I am planning a trip driving from Boston to Atlanta (round trip) either July 8
through July 14 or July 13 through July 20. will stop by some NP on the way,
and try to visit some quiet little town.
The reason I choose Atlanta as destination is because of the Smoky NP nearby
and a friend is living there. It's kind of flexible.
(surely I can take care everything in Boston for accormodation)
If the schedule works out for you and you are interested, let me know.

time on the road. It takes 10 hours to drive there from New Jersey.

than what we had at Delaware. lobsters in plenty of restaurants. we did some
hiking and biking.
happyseeker told me that you guys are gonna to go there, welcome to stop by
then.
i'll go there this summer too, but probably just take a weekend. well let's
see whether we can work it out since you guys need to drive for some time.

发帖数: 488 | 6 last time I went to Acadia from DC.:), just 4 days total too. We went to
Acadia for a day, then went to Baxter state park, it is very nice place, the
peak of one montain is the end/begin point of AT. THe time we went, one side
hiking routes to the peak were closed because of 雪崩。The hiking trails to
the peak is said to be for serious climber. u can check my posts on
travel board.
About acadia, two trails are said to be good, one is closed now cause the
隼在上面筑窝。The ontehr one is Beehives, very good

发帖数: 36 | 7 REI has discounted(-$10) NP pass now. I remember our pass saved us twice the
value in 2000-2001.
We are interested in Maine -- actually we talked about it last night. But not
now. So mave please provide info after the trip.
