Footwear The single most important piece of gear is
footwear, which must
be of the highest quality. Boots must be of the warmest
rated doubled
plastic models or the military vapor barrier type. Both have
excellent
track records for use on Denali. All double boots must be
equipped with
a completely insulated overboot, including closed cell foam
on the sole.
Supergators are inadequate substitutes for overboots. Boots
should be
fitted with several pair of socks and should not |
