I used to fish clifton court forebay during the month of Nov/Dec on 2006
The forebay is a buffer to pump delta fresh water into the canal and the
gate opens a few times a day(I suspect it follows tide to work efficiently).
The fresh water comes in together with the striper and other fish and the
feeding becomes more active when water is moving.
I used to soak live bait at night/early morning and catch some striper up to
28",6-7 lbs. I saw somebody use big |

description.
How about the action there? How many percent of chance to get a limit(
roughly)? I went all the way in since I was told by a coworker to do so and
I believed that there must be a reason for all the other ppl to spend time
ride 5 miles in instead of staying at the point. But I didn't get a chance
to ask ppl who fished at the point.
About the safety and wind, yes, i agree with you 100%:)

You need to have good WAF account to do so often:)
The bite is kind of not consistent. Sometime you wait for 3 hours in cold
night with no action and sometime, you have fish on both lines. I usually
land one or two keeper in 6 hours. I lost two big ones that snapped my line
before I saw them. I learned to keep the lead new, hook sharp and drag
proper. The thing I like this place is that you usually do not end up
catching nothing and you have a chance of catching

不过话说回来，如若轻松可以有好渔获，那这个钓点也比较难以维持（除非钓者技高一

，看到不少人在闸门附近用假饵钓。我还是骑到里面独自钓。抛下去十分钟左右上了条
小striper，刚刚够尺寸，没留。后来陆陆续续上了3条catfish，都在15-20寸左右，也
没留。太阳落山的时候看到不少小鱼在水面跳，可能是shad。七点半之后就没有什么动
静了。九点收工往回走。总共用掉6条mudsucker。
总体感觉不放水的时候还是比较慢。几届上还是早了点。
骑车没有以前感觉那么远，可能是最近体力练得比较多。
