't know who brought me this bottle of cooking wine. The 2005 vintage for
southern Australia is an extraodinary year. Even though this wine's rating
does not reach my standard, I'll still give it a try. Since it's aged
about the time that is ready for drinking. I am going to open this wine
tonight. |

Australia 2005, it has good aromas when the bottle is opened, but the aromas
do not last too long. The cork is, of course, the cheap agglomerate
stopper because the wine is cheap. It is full bodied with deep red. It
tastes bitter with some flavor of plums (蜜餞) and a bit tannic. Maybe two
more years to reach its full maturity. Do I like or enjoy it? No! I might
really use it in the kitchen as a cooking wine, or I might pair it with
some snack to make it easier to swallow if I do continue to finish this
bottle. Rating? I'll give it 85 points.
