if mustang's handling is better, i wonder how to drive a camaro, lol
btw, camaro has a 3.6L engine, how come it can have 306HP, almost 100HP
powerful than mustang with 4.0L...

这个3.6跟那个4.0可以说不是一个时代的东西。

The 4.0L SOHC version itself is not that old, actually
but in terms of tech it's really antique
you can't easily find a worse engine nowadays...
for example, the "new" Mustang V6 is significantly lighter than the new
Camaro V6
& almost 100 hp less powerful
so it's reasonable to predict the Mustang would be more fuel efficient
however, according to EPA, the Mustang V6 AT's ratings are 16/24 mpg
while the Camaro V6 AT is rated at 18/29
not to mention power & torque
4.0L vs 3.6L, 210 hp vs 304 hp,

这个4.0L SOHC以及其他一些变种是一直延续福特的colonge 6缸系列,从70年代一直发
展到90年代末。这个4.0L应该是是80年代末的变种,因为90年就有车装这个发动机了。
感觉美国车的发动机都一直没有引进新技术来提高马力和扭矩

我觉得是被便宜汽油惯坏的。不像欧洲日本对大排量征税限制

so you have to increase the specific output and thermal efficiency of your
engines
so Germans are pretty eager to use techs such as forced induction, high-rev
concept, down-sizing, direct injection, and so on
here in US, you don't have such a pressure at all
any time you need more po
