发帖数: 172 | 1 Stigliz is a very funny old gentleman, though also very respectable.
He is very against international institutions who promotes capital accounts
liberalization, like IMF, as what IMF did on Southeast Asian Countries
during the 1997 financial crisis.
He is extremely enthusiastic sometimes when giving lectures, and looks like
“老顽童”in my view, with his white hair and beard.
I remember he quitted his former position in World Bank because his opinion is not
agreeable with others in there. :) |
