Associate scientist
Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Scientist to operate regular laboratory
experiment, such as PCR cloning, DNA and RNA preparation, plasmid
preparation, protein purification, RNA transcription and so on. The
successful candidate should have strong molecular biology or related science
background, with great communication skill and problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate molecular biological experiments such as PCR cloning, DNA
and RNA preparation, plasmid preparation, protein purification, RNA
transcription and so on
• Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment
• Follow and help to develop Standard Operating Protocol
• Communicate with customers occasionally by phone and e-mail in a
friendly and professional manner
Requirements:
• Bachelor or above degree in biology related field with minimum 1-
3 years industrial/academic experience
• Strong molecular biology background with hands-on experience
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills

Senior scientist
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement new technology programs of genomics and molecular
biology related methods to improve lab operations in general in terms of on
time delivery, high quality, lower error rates
• Ensure the establishment and maintenance of good levels of DNA
delivery for experiment interpretation and reporting system
• Develop novel technologies and products used for DNA assembly,
applications and protocols
• Collaborates with other team members to meet project deadlines
and research objectives
• Accomplish department and personal goals
• Ensure that corrective actions are taken and documented, lab
operations SOPS established
• Maintain the outstanding service quality by establishment of QA/
QC system
• Support global business development, engage in BD activities and
strategic planning
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting
manager.
Qualifications
• Ph. D. in cellular and molecular biology, synthetic biology, or a
related field of life science
• 1-3 years of industry experience preferred
• Prior extensive experience in the applications of synthetic
biology
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology(specifically with DNA
manipulation and DNA synthesis) required
• International travel required, it is estimated that 50% of the
working time will be spent overseas and the other 50% in the states
Project manager
Job Description
Provide primary business, technical and product/service advice to customers.
This includes providing effective solutions to customer’s project
inquiries and generating price quotations for project design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for working with the Regional BD Manager to grow
sales targets for Synbio Technologies product/service lines to achieve sales
goals
• Contact and collaborate with any and all necessary internal
departments in order to achieve the customer’s research goals
• When necessary handle customer’s complaints and work within
internal departments to rectify any unwanted situations
• Oversees projects throughout the entire process starting with an
inquiry to quote generation and production to quality control and shipping
• Organize and provide training for internal sales and external
distributors by delivering presentations or/and demos
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in scientific disciplines
majoring in life science area with at least 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of the Biological and/or general biotech industry.
Emphasis on Gene Synthesis, Protein, Peptide, Hybridoma sequencing, Antibody
Discovery preferred
• Ability to operate effectively in an international business
environment and the ability to succeed in such an environment
• Good verbal and written command of the English language.

• Team player. Strong analytical and time management skills
Business Development Specialist in Biotech
Job Description
The role of Business Development (BD) Specialist will be responsible for
implementing sales and marketing strategy and tactics to achieve sales and
profit goals in designated geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strong knowledge base of molecular biology methods including PCR,
cloning, DNA synthesis, DNA libraries
• Understand drug discovery and synthetic biology workflows
• Highly adaptable and independent, take initiative and have a
growth mindset
• Thrive in a start-up, rapidly growing company environment
• Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer
relationships
• Excellent verbal and writing skills, great computer skills
• Demonstrated track record in lead generation and prospecting
• A proven track record of sales achievements, includes meeting and
exceeding sales targets
• Strong relationships in Pharma, Biotech and Research
organizations is a must
• Relationships in Drug Discovery, Antibody Engineering, and
Biological Drug Development is a plus
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Biology (Molecular Biology or other related
Life Sciences preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience with biotechnology/pharmaceutical
industries is highly desired
• Good communication skills including verbal, written and
