move.
If they don't evolve together with the market development, it would be a
slow death, and Kodak is just the latest example (which holds onto their
business model of film camera when the world goes digital). Another film
camera maker at that time Fuji Film, made the transition and they are at
least still alive.
With the USPS service gets worse every day, how can Netflix not abandon its
DVD business and explore other opportunities? It might have a small chance
of success (with other competitions), but it is better than the certainty of
death.

I cannot agree with you regarding Netflix. Management should maximize
shareholders' value not about suvivorship of the company for their own sake.
If a business is shrinking, the company should seriously think about
liquidize its business, although most companies choose to invest/acquire
other businesses.......
Koda may be different as it has a heavy pension burden and cannot be
liquidized.
