标 题: 请问一个offer法律问题。

是agent帮忙找的temp job.有一个文件叫90-day probation period,上面写了如果被 d
ischarged for cause or voluntarily terminating work before 90 days 要陪pre-e
mployment screening 钱，包括background check, drug screening test. 这个条款是
合法的吗？ 有法律依据吗？ 如果我签了是不是就有效了。感觉太霸王条款了。只有保
护agent.没有说如果discharged before agreed period,还要陪employee钱了。
还有一条说离职必须是notification in writing of 1-week is mandatory.感觉这样的
条款一点都不舒服。虽然本来自然就是2-week notice,但这样的必须条款看着不舒服。 | g*****g

any obligation. If you leave by yourself, you may need to pay it back.
The advanced written notice is always the same obligation for both parties,
which means if you are going to be laid off, the employer needs to
notify you in advance too or they need to pay you for a week.

这个第一个自己走人赔钱， 签了的话就必须生效。没有说那条法律说这样的条款不能生
效吧？
If you are let go before probation period is up. I don't think you have
any obligation. If you leave by yourself, you may need to pay it back.
