Bio: MCDBA in 2000 and Master degree CS from university of Cincinnati.
Started as SQL Analyst in 2000 and have been working as SQL Consultant, SQL
Server Database Administrator for 11 years. Specialization in SQL Server
production performance tuning, database system infrastructure and
architecture, replication, best practices for SQL Server DBA and Developer,
SSIS, SSRS.

Topic: Future of Oracle Employment Market
Presenter: Yonghang Wang/Tingda Lu/Beijing

Abstract: What kinds of oracle jobs are in job markets? What is the
different between developer, DBA and Data Architecture? Why many people say
oracle DBA is one of most stable, and higher paid jobs and how can I become
an oracle DBA?
Audience: Beginners of Oracle learner and job Seeker, junior oracle DBA and
developers.
Bio:
Yonghang Wang works in a finance service company as DB2 database
administrator. He holds several certificates such as IBM Certified Systems
Expert, WebSphere Administration, Certificate Java programmer, Microsoft
Certified IT Professional (MCITP) and ITIL Certification. Before his current
job, Yonghang worked in IBM for 5 years and then work in a bank as lead DBA
, managing systems including core banking system which has 30M active
customers.
Tingda Lu has more than 10 years of database experience. He is an Oracle 8i
Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator. He was a senior Oracle
consultant in Quest, providing database performance service to
telecommunication companies, including Beijing Mobile Telecommunication Co.,
Yunnan Mobile Telecommunication Co., Shandong Mobile Telecommunication Co,
Neimengguo Mobile Telecommunication Co. and Shannxi Mobile Telecommunication
Co. He also worked as an Oracle and SQL server database trainer in
Microsoft Certified Training Partner.
Beijing has over 10 years of experience in software, database, and web
design and development. He is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Database Administrator. He is
currently working in a health network company as a Software Engineer.

Topic: From where to start learning Oracle Database

Abstract: I want to learn oracle, how do I start? Which books are suggested?
Where can I find Oracle documents and how to read them? And goods websites,
forums to learn Oracle?
Audience: Intended to anyone wants to start to learn oracle technologies and
become a database administrator or database developer who has no and little
knowledge on Oracle database.
Bio: Tingda Lu has more than 10 years of database experience. He is an
Oracle 8i Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator. He was a
senior Oracle consultant in Quest, providing database performance service to
telecommunication companies, including Beijing Mobile Telecommunication Co.
, Yunnan Mobile Telecommunication Co., Shandong Mobile Telecommunication Co,
Neimengguo Mobile Telecommunication Co. and Shannxi Mobile
Telecommunication Co. He also worked as an Oracle and SQL server database
