5 -7 years experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical design using
SolidWorks mechanical design software tools.
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of components and
assemblies.
Experience performing tolerance analyses of subsystems or subassemblies.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Previous medical device design experience preferred.
Knowledge of ERP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in engineering/
manufacturing preferred.
5 – 8 years experience in mechanical design, analysis, materials selection,
troubleshooting in an engineering environment or 3 – 6 years previous
experience with an MS Degree.
Solid technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles in product
development.
Proficiency in mechanical design software tools (SolidWorks or Pro Engineer)
Proficiency with mechanical design analysis methods (FEA, CFD, etc) and
software tools (CosmosWorks or Pro Mechanica).
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of components and
assemblies.
Experience performing tolerance analyses of subsystems or subassemblies.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation
skills.
Previous experience in medical device development or experience in a highly
regulated industry is highly desirable. | b********t
