I read somewhere that a "rule of thumb" way of figuring out contractor rate
is like this: If you are now a permanent employee and would like to quit
and do contrator work, the hourly rate should be your base salary divided by
1000. For example, if you are making 100K base salary per year as
permanent employee, then you should charge client at least $100 per hour for
contractor job.
I personally think this is a good rule.
But I would like to seek comments from others, especially from those | k****y 发帖数: 781 | 2 Usually it is 30% more than the permenant base. | W**********r 发帖数: 8927 | 3 有几个人可以找到100$/hr的?现在这种环境,很多30,40,50$/hr的~~ |
