现在用part time opt做实习，按小时领工资。理论上一周只能工作２０小时。想问下
如果超时工作领钱会有什么后果？会影响将来h１么？实在干不完活啊！ | o******p

发帖数: 348 | 3 It seems no problem. Who said part-time just can work 20 hrs a week? Using
OPT, even you can work for more than one employer. I remember last year I
used CPT(full time) to work as an intern which was also based on hourly pay.
I worked more than 40 hrs a week and I got pay on over-time working without
any problem. For that, I asked IES at my school and got confirmation that
it's ok to get over-time pay if the company likes. | y**********r

My memory is fuzzy but I recall my school's cpt indicated how many hours
were allowed to work. In the semesters, we worked more than 20 hours but I
did not claim the overtime wage. In the summer, I applied for fulltime cpt
which allowed me to work more than 40 hours. Then I claimed more hours than
the actual hours to make up the previous overtime. My supervisor agreed.
I do not think it will affect your H1-B as the immigration office does not
have time to verify during H1- |
