发帖数: 187 | 1 CS master即将毕业，简历断断续续在投，可是一直没有什么结果。
我以前在国内有过几年工作经验，主要是做商品管理的，包括采购、物流、库存控制等
等。可能这些经验与CS实在不搭边，所以写在简历里面也没起到作用。
由于是转专业，这两年主要是努力把课程上好，虽然成绩还可以，可是没有掌握过硬的
技能，C，java，SQL熟练一些，PHP用过一点，数据库什么的，course project连过用
过而已。
所以想请教版上的xdjm，像我这样，直接投纯编程的职位是不是没戏？大家看看有没有
其他我还能做的职位，比如supply chain analyst?
另外，最近想花点时间再突破一门语言，请大家给一些建议，c++，c#, python,php, .
net,哪个对找工作比较实用又上手快的？

您说的这些我都挺熟的，可是找了半年工作几乎没看到有Java的初级职位，每天收到
Java的job alert几十个，清一色的诸如
5+ year struts/spring/hibernate
3+ year xml, web service，websphere
3+ year javascript etc
etc
基本上他们要求的关键字我简历上都cover了，要价也要得很低，但是投过去没反应，
因为没有工作经验。 如果只投3 year exp以下的, 就几乎投不出去，没几个opening。
现在Java的程序员确实剩太多了。。。
现在打算马上突击一种语言，不知道哪种最容易速成，最容易找初级职位？ C, C++, C
#，ASP, PHP, Python? 我本科加硕士6年只用Java。。。

to c# from your java background, and at least in the areas i know, more .
net entry level positions.
it's not about 您说的这些我都挺熟的, i can't even say i'm 挺熟 after all
these years for myself. and it's not about "关键字" either, let me ask you,
would you believe some guy fresh out of school knows "struts/spring/
hibernate, xml, web service，websphere" well? one problem on the java side is

前段时间花了几个星期在学GWT, opening少但用的人也少，我还拿到过一个interview.

try to prepare a few diff. versions of resumes, i would get a headache
seeing somebody (mostly indians) lists tons of skills on their resume, while
none of them in a specific project (even a course project).
try to talk to some friends:
1) see what they do in their work, what skills they use, what type of
business, clients...
2) see if there're openings;
3) get them to help you with your resume;
4) practise a mock interview with them.

fortune on this, and it has a large market share. also, a lot of small/
medium sized companies use it and they're more likely to be flexible in h1b
sponsorships.
for 冷门, too few openings, even you can get one, very hard to transfer your
skills/expr. to the next job.

他这个学期完全放给我自由，thesis都让我放下一边了，我才有这么多时间学东西
我读的方向是cryptography，这方面有关的position都是security clearance，可以说
过去两年学的东西对我找工作一点帮助都没有。 编程经验都是靠最近半年才自学。 唯
一有帮助的是做了3个学期的algorithm这门课的TA，不过现在这种面试考算法的公司几
乎不招人了。

发帖数: 1674 | 15 要是投简历的话，还是把网撒大一点吧。把数据结构和算法弄好搞扎实，编程语言不管
是什么，用过一点就可以。可以先看看Programming Interviews Exposed、
公司给你电面或者onsite都会提前几天告诉你，准备的那几天就把公司的reuqirement
搞清楚，要是人家要java，你那就天就狂准备java，基础扎实的话，不需要找本java书
从头准备（因为时间不够了），找网上题目多多练习就好了。狂做题。总结。
我当时java知道的不多，以前都用的c++和c，没有任何工作经验。一个onsite，（之前
还有很多电面，fail了），就拿到了offer，工作以后天天用java，慢慢跟着做project
，就熟悉了。
我觉得好的公司大公司还是看重你的基础知扎不扎实，学习能力强不强，不是单纯找编程机器。要是以前没有工
作经验，对于小硕，gpa要好。
