No, this is NOT called "conflict of interest".
By definition, if C and E companies fall into the same genre/category and they
are head-to-head competitors, what ur described will be "conflict of
interest",
for ur case, you can outspeak ur concerns and let C's manager know of the
"truth" in ur minds,
however, you just need to proceed skillfully and not put urself on E's
radar-screen ;)
