speaking,
1. The earlier you join, the more (much more) you get, as you are taking more
risk. You might get 5 times more if you are employee #20, than if you are
#120.
2. The more senior you are, the more you get. Salary is difficult to go up too
much, so good startup rewards their senior engineers with generous options.
3. Company specific policy. Good valley startups reserves more options for
