IRA account is Individual Retirement Account...
you can contribute 3k for 2002 if you are qualified.
The benefit is kind of similar with 401k. For traditional
tax-deduct IRA, you can use the contribution to deduct
tax(same with 401k), tax-deferred until you do the
distribution(withdraw money). The con is if
you make distribution before 59 years old and the
distribution is not for higher education, 1st house
pruchasing etc, you will have to pay 10% penalty fee.
