理解,我一字一句敲上来
P149 “When commenting on the sentence,"not to get what one wishes,"this
is also suffering, the commentator said that the desire for what is
unattainable, what you cannot get, is suffering. In the sutta itself, it
is explained that desire for form,etc., is the object of the second
noble truth which is desire of craving. Therefore, desire can be the
object of another desire. The Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw teaches us that
desire or craving which has been accumulated in past lives and which is
the origin of aggregates in subsequent lives is the second noble truth.
It is the desire for things which are unattainable, the desire which
belongs to the aggregates in subsequent lives.“
P153 “craving for visual forms,etc.,is the result of another craving.
Craving for visual forms, etc., is the First Noble Truth, and the
craving that arises from that craving is the Second Noble Truth. When
you begin to understand that you have cravings fro visual forms, you
have understand the First noble truth. When you begin to understand that
these cravings give rise to other cravings, you have understood the
Second noble truth.“
什么叫做"desire can be the object of another desire"?Mahasi Sayadaw的话跟
前后的语句有何关系? 该怎么理解the craving that arises from that craving或者
these cravings give rise to other cravings is the Second Noble Truth? | H******9 发帖数: 2766 | 2 one desire could lead to another, and a desire itself could be the object of
another desire.
举例说明,挣钱吧,有的人是单纯为钱而贪;
而有的人即使钱已经很多了还继续贪,心里面已经不是单纯为实物的'钱'而贪,而是为
'贪'而贪了,为了'贪'的快乐而贪下去。
所以,上面你引用的书里的意思是:
第一种人为钱而奔波,这为'苦',因贪欲而苦;
第二种人身上,你可以看到'集',贪欲的累积,一个会引起另一个,此为'集'。仍然是
,诸苦所因,贪欲为本。
所以,要"知"苦谛,"断"集谛... |
