I'm in serious trouble right now, and hope someone can help me. The technician
in my department tried to re-install everything on my laptop, and he told he
backed up my files on Symantec image. But later I found out that many of those
backup files are corrupted, i.e. with "0 byte" and a new date (8/8/05). That
technician said that Symantec provides no means for reparing those damaged
images.
What can I do? Please help me. There are so many important files on that
laptop.

一定注意重要文档的备份最好是同样的copy放其他media上，不要压缩，不要做ima

IMPORTANT. This is a bloody lesson I learned.
