Did you see anything in Event Viewer? Programs -> adminitrative tools ->
event viewer, or type "eventvwr.msc" in Programs -> run.
I know there is a bug in Win2K that it would set it to PIO in some cases and
you can never change it back. But there may be a way to solve it.
What is your motherboard model?
