i*****s 发帖数: 438 | 1 Does Outlook has a feature alike .forward in UNIX?
I can set up filter, but I will have to play with
multiple (more than 1) rules. There got to be a
less ugly solution.
Also, a message can be either 'redirect' or 'forward'
to an another mailbox. The problem with 'redirect'
is that it replaces whatever the original 'to' line
with the new redirect email address. This cause
great deal of confusion and inconvenience. The
problem with 'forward' is that it had the original
message as an attachment. |

part of the email server process. Outlook is an email client application,
cannot do anything email server does. |

That makes sense. Then what can be done on the Exchange server side? My
email admin told me the only way it would work would be to remove my account
entirely, and only make an alias.
That's not as desirable because I totally lost the account, but the alias.
So what can be done on the Exchange server side? Thank you very much!

My admin said things changed in Exchange server 2007.
Now it can only forward to another Exchange account,
not a regular non-Exchange account. Is it true?
