1、Window下，清理临时文件，清理IE缓存，清理系统还原，
还可以运行" sfc.exe /purgecache"
2、对于thinkpad，清理掉rescue and recovery的备份，或者关闭它的自动备份。
3、对于Leopard，清理time machine的备份，或关闭之
4、对于其他品牌的电脑，please refer to your user manual....

a more radical measure would be delete all hidden partitions and clean
install windows. disable system restore and delete hibernate file.
