I was asked to sign a different NDA from the one I agreed on when I was
hired.
I just started a new job with a small company owned by a Chinese American.I
was asked to sign a NDA and I asked for a NDA from my boss before I
accepted the job offer. Now there is another NDA attached in the employee
manual that HR gave to me on the first day I started my new job and HR asked
me to sign this NDA. This NDA described different terms from the one I
originally agreed on when I accepted my job offer. Most importantly, this
second NDA forbits me from working from any competitors of my current
company.
I discussed this with my boss and she told me that this second NDA was the
standard NDA that every employee has to sign. And the first NDA was for
technical positions.
How can I get out of this not to sign this second NDA? |
