We are excited to announce the rollout of a new and improved Student Health
Advantage (SHA) plan!the SHA plan will include an all new Platinum plan
option designed for students in need of premium level coverage. Some of the
enhanced Platinum benefits include:
$25 Per Injury or Illness Deductible (Outside US/Canada, and in US PPO
Network)
$50 Per Injury or Illness Deductible in US but Non-PPO provider
$5 co-pay in the student health center
Pre-existing condition waiting period is 6 months
Maternity covered same as any illness
Good News! The premiums have been reduced on the SHA Standard plan option.
We have also changed the Maximum Limit from a Lifetime to a Per Period Limit
. The maternity benefit on the Standard plan has been amended to 80%/60% (in
network/out of network) to plan limit. |
