there's time and place for everything. i'll be the first to say i do it
from time to time to make a point in certain situations against certain

these games indiscriminately while paying no consideration to overall
professional and personal objectives, business context, power, politics and

suicidal.

a******o 发帖数: 261 | 19 don't think so buddy.
this is how the professional game is played at the simplest level - i've
been on plenty of ranking calls and there's always a lot of horse trading
going on. sometimes it's obvious that an exec is favoring a particular
protege, but nevertheless he still has to do it via drumming up his
candidate's perceived accomplishment. i've had my own protege promoted and
be ranked #1 in his class (who happened to be a 2nd generation Indian w/ a
MBA from Chicago, for whatever its worth),
as well as having to rescue someone from the bottom of the rank. One thing
for sure - it takes a lot to be at the top but it doesn't take much to be at
the bottom: if someone is perceived to have attitude issue or, worse,
acting unprofessional and/or is a bad teammate, he will find himself at the
bottom of the force ranking rather effortlessly.
i dumb all that down on purpose but since you can't even understand that,
all i can say is good luck to you - please go on w/ your silly mind games
which has zero focus or real professional objectives; i am sure you'd be a
superstar professionally and earn the deepest respect of not just indians,
but every other race in no time.
