to work directly under Nicholas Bowen. He was probably the most incompetent,
verbally abusive manager I had in my 30 year career with the state. I did
bring these issues up to my superiors, who because of their workload or
disinterest in the matter, failed to do anything about it. Needless to say,
Mr. Bowen was the main reason that I decided to retire one year earlier than
I had planned. Also, because of this man, the California Department of
Public Health has last two other good Section Chiefs to other programs or | a******e
