靠近DC 的 great falls 和mclean 区据说学区不错，但高中只有8分， 在网上看房子
也挺大，比弯曲的房子还是便宜的，
不知道那边小孩教育，生活怎么样，中国人多不多？

I came to DC/MD/VA from Silicon Valley approx. 6 years ago. There are good
school areas in DC, VA, and MD. Typically, Chinese families tend to move to
MD or VA good school areas for the kids' reason. Generally, house prices
tie in with the schools scoring and demographics of the area; however, I
believe that price in the Greater DC area seems to be much lower than that
of the Bay area. There is a large presence of Chinese population in those
good school areas though the extent cannot be compared with that in the much
more concentrated Silicon Valley.
There are similarities and differences between DC and the Bay area, hence
pros and cons. However, you will be fine adapting here if you are moving
from the Bay vs the other way around. There are also a lot of outside
recreational activities that you may engage yourself if you are outgoing:
Generally, they are not that far away.
