Good Morning!
Registration for the Maryland Summer Centers for Gifted and Talented
Students (MSC) is in full swing. We are using our NEW completely ONLINE
REGISTRATION SYSTEM!
I need your help in getting the message out to teachers, parents and
students. We are not printing the usual brochures/catalogs this year, in
order to maximize the funds going to our Centers, so assistance provided by
you and your teachers is critical in the success of this year's Centers!
The following is a short synopsis of this years MSC Program:
Maryland Summer Centers for Gifted and Talented Students
The Maryland Summer Centers for Gifted and Talented Students is celebrating
its 48th year this summer. Programs are available for Gifted and Talented
students/advanced learners from grades 3 through 12 this year. Subject areas
include Ecosystem Education, Engineering and Robot Design, Fine and
Performing Arts, Creative Writing, Physics of Wind and Solar Power, Space
Engineering and Robotics, as well as Biotechnology and Forensic Science.
Some Centers offer a residential experience and others are held during the
day only. ALL Centers offer partial or full financial assistance! Minorities
and students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
For more information and to begin the NEW ONLINE APPLICATION process,

I have attached a copy of a flyer and a card that can be given directly to
qualified students as an invitation. Please have your teachers invite all
deserving students and parents to visit our website and to apply to the
program. Remember that partial and full financial assistance is available
and that we encourage ALL qualified students who would benefit from this
program to apply.
