If you added 'gas' to your vehicles on Friday (Halloween) evening from the
gas pumps of COSTCO at Sterling and your vehicles then had problems, the
possible reason is that Kirkland Gas wrongfully added diesel to the gasoline
tank of the COSTCO at Sterling around 7 PM. So, the customers, like me,
added wrong fuel to our vehicles, causing the vehicles broke down.
COSTCO called on some consumers for the problem on Sunday afternoon,
offering their apology, asking consumers to fix their vehicles, keeping all
relevant receipts, and waiting for their official letter on Tuesday or
Wednesday.
I just learned in the morning when picking up my car from garage that a
person from our Community, who towed his car to the same garage and had the
SAME problem, did NOT know the reason and did NOT get the call from COSTCO.
Fortunately, the garage owner told the person about my situation.
If you think you are possibly one of 'us', please COSTCO at Sterling.
