formation over the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery to honor our
nation’s veterans. This formation of will consist of approximately 24 T-6
“Texan” aircraft and will depart from the Culpeper Regional Airport in
Virginia at approximately 11:30 AM on Friday, October 10th. The route of
flight will take this formation near Manassas, Woodbridge, VA, Clinton, MD,
Oxon Hill, Andrews Air Force Base, and then over the Pentagon and Arlington
National Cemetery. The formation will then begin its return to Culpeper as
it flies over Arlington, VA, Annandale, Burke, and Manassas.
WHAT: Twenty four WWII aircraft to fly over the Pentagon & Arlington
National Cemetery. The T-6 “Texan” was a popular U.S. Military trainer
aircraft in the 1940’s and 50’s.
WHEN: Friday, October 10, 2014 ~12:30pm (actual flyover time is subject to
change)
WHERE:Airspace over Northern Virginia and Maryland (near Andrews AFB)
WHY: To honor Disabled American Veterans as a visible tribute to their

The aircraft formation will include a B-25 bomber, P-51 Mustang and
approximately 28 T-6 Texans. During the flyover “performance smoke” may be
