标 题: Pentagon附近25的路开了45.

昨晚
没给reckless driving。 直接给了罚单，还跟我说要么直接交钱，要么等三月份上庭
。想请问一下大家上庭的好处是什么。扣点什么的是怎么回事。新手，知道错了！ | i****y

prepay.
The differences are:
1. you may come completely clean by going to the court (e.g., police doesn't
show up, or judge finds you not guilty). This is, however, not likely to
happen.
2. you plead guilty, but show your previous good driving record. Judge will
reduce your speed. In that case, you will be deducted less driving points
on your DMV record. e.g., driving 20 miles over speed limit can cost you 4
or even 6 points. But if it's reduced to within 10, it will cost you 3
points. Driving record will stay for three years (according to VA law).
What does that affect? Your insurance premium.
