发帖数: 561 | 1 下周四带女友和她的爸妈去DC游两天，我们自己也是第一次过去，这几天在travel版上
做功课，可是还是没有决定住哪块。求DCer推荐几个安全又方便的，包子答谢。
因为听说DC这边公共交通很便利，打算把车停在宾馆，做地铁去游玩national mall 跟
museum。看精华区有网友推荐住Arlington、crystal city、Bethesda或者rockvile等
，不知道哪个相对更加方便，麻烦了解的同学讲讲。
还有就是我自己有3W的SPG points，不知道是用SPG定宾馆划算还是在priceline上面
bid划算，也麻烦有知道的同学讲讲。多谢了 | n*****e

发帖数: 1028 | 3 If it only 2 days and you only plan to see the DC, I would stay in DC, if
their parents are only visiting US for short time, I would skip chinese
restaurant and dine in nice local restaurant. I personally think fogo de
chao is pretty good if they like meat (plus you will not come out hungry)
I would use points to a get a 2 bedroom suite if you have enough to do so.

发帖数: 561 | 4 嗯，我们计划在DC呆3天吧，所以主要打算逛逛国会山，纪念碑跟博物馆啥的。用SPG查
了下，DC这边住的确实很贵，一晚上最低7000点。。。

发帖数: 1028 | 6 Yes, prepare to spend some money, don't be cheap in front of your 女友和她的
爸妈, it is only 3 days. (that is if you want the relationship to go further
since you are taking her parents along)
On the other hand, I don't think DC is more expensive compare to other big
city like NYC, a good hotel in Manhattan could easily cost more.
