We just hiked the old rag trail but don't know if there is a two-day trail a
vailable around.
We are completely beginner, so may need a well-established trail first....

Appalachian Trail is well established
Most well established trail could be C & O Canal.Nice and easy, right beside
potomac river.

有没有近一点的。开车不那么久。但是长一点儿的。
比如一天爬10miles，或者15mile，从早上一直到天黑，应该很过瘾。呵呵

呵呵，我们上周末走了old rag，还是比较爽的。
Co canal，等这学期考完试去玩玩。

发帖数: 1148 | 9 COcanal是不是就是great falls啊？ MD那侧我们爬了一条trail，大概一两小时就下来
了。
看来还是先try一下appalachian trail吧，不过就是离得远些。而且commute也是个问
题。
有没有这样的trail，开车到A点，走两天，走一大圈，但是风景不错，有山有水，又回
到了A点，开车回家。

发帖数: 1148 | 10 一天爬那么多肯定不好的。而且old rag也快有8.5了吧，还不错。
我觉得一天爬8左右，连着爬两天，也许更有意思。现在就想找这样的地方呢。
走一天跟走两天感觉完全不是一个量级的。要是old rag的强度，一个人背两天的水，
夏天气温又高，加上相机啥的。肯定很沉。。。

visitor center to ask.
My fast pace for OLD RAG is 3 and half hour last Sat.
If you want try this Saturday, we can go together. |
