congestion is pretty bad in VA. What do your co-workers like VA about? Is MD
more friendly to Chinese people than VA in general?

you don't live close to Springfield, it should be OK. There are some big
Asian grocery stores in VA too and life is very convenient. In both states,
populations are very diversified.

发帖数: 10844 | 7 Both places are nice with good school system. Commuting would be my major
concern. Most people use metro if they work in DC while live in MD or VA.
Any plan you would work in either MD or VA in the future may help you decide
where to live now.

发帖数: 7151 | 8 很多人认为DC与蒙郡之间只有495高速，其实还有一条不太为人所知的林间道，beach
drive 接 rock creek pkwy， 从Silver Spring到Arlington 只需要25分钟，而且上下
班都是one way， 4车道。 车速在25～35之间，因为知道的人少， 很少堵车。
蒙郡好学区少而且集中，所以相同条件下房价贵一些。
我们一直想搬到farifax因为我们很多朋友都是在维州。除此之外蒙郡挺好地。 |

From community life perspective, is conservative relegious white poeple a
problem socially in Northern VA? I heard Northern VA is getting more and
more liberal, but it still has a southern root. I am moving in from Texas
and has developed a dislike for these people. I hope that it is only my
personal biase and not a problem in Northern VA. Can anyone comment on this? |

religious white are their self-righteousness and intolerance to people that
are different from them.

Montgomery County in MD in that matter. They are right next to each other
and the majority of the people live in the area are professionals. |
