发帖数: 1362 | 7 其实中医中药是经验科学，近现代没有得到足够的重视，被大家误认为是伪科学。西医
虽然成系统，还是有很多东西不能解释。德国最近做了一些针灸的clinical trial ，
结果都是不错的。大家要支持中医中药，才能更快弃糟粕，取精华。 |

If the FDA standards were used for approving any Chinese Medicine, it would
be very hard to approve any. There are too many active ingredients in it,
and it is hard to show each active ingredient is necessary. There are many
other issues related to Chinese Medicine, like manufacturing, stability
issues, etc.
We may need other ways to show that A Chinese medicine is safe and
efficacious. |

发帖数: 1362 | 10 西医不死人吗？以俺亲身经历过的两个clinical trial来讲。第一个先死了两个人，后
来改了治疗方案，目前有大概40个病人，效果不错。第二个，今年年初收了6个病人，
死了2个，还有病人肾衰竭。现在改了方案，还在进行中。thalidomide在60年代初，导
致的海豹胎，不计其数，现在这药还在用，不过女性要严格采用contraception.医药的
发展就是这样，后人站在前人的尸体上。中医在国内，是医死了不少人。还有人利用病
人灵丹妙药的心理，把这个问题搞得更严重。但是那是malpractice,属于道德问题。
中医在各个方面，远远赶不上西医。生了病，特别是重病和急性病，当然最先考虑西医
。但是没有必要把他们对立起来。各取所长。

each person may have different experience and opinion. Personally I think
the western medicine development procedure is more scientific than the
Chinese medicine development procedure, but we can't call Chinese medicine '
伪科学'. The testing procedure before marketing for a western drug is much
more rigorous. I think the biggest problem for a Chinese medicine is that
randomized, double blind clinical trials are not done.
