Canada visitor visas (Temporary Resident Visa - TRV).
6/1 pm: application submitted online, and email corfirmation received
6/2 pm: email notice received saying "Your application has been updated". No
new messages received in MyCIC account.
6/11 pm: email notice received saying "Your application has been updated".
Original Passort Request received in MyCIC account.
6/12 am: Drop off our passorts/documents in a Priority envelope at a USPS
mailbox. (detail discussed in the end)
6/15 pm: Passport delivered at VAC-NY according to USPS tracking.
6/16 pm: CIC Application Receipt email received. Tracking ID has been
assigned to us, my USPS return label tracking number has been updated into
their system. Both our names were included in this email.
6/17 am: "Your current application status is Passport in Transit to the Visa
Office" (using the Tracking ID at https://www.csc-cvac.com/en-US/
selfservice/status)
6/18 am: "Your current application status is Passport Received by the Visa
Office - Under Consideration"
6/18 pm: "Your current application status is Application Processing
Completed - In Transit to the VAC"
6/20 am: "Your current application status is Application Processing
Completed - In Transit to the Applicant from the VAC"
6/22 am: passports with visas received.
一共耗时3周
给VAC寄护照材料经历：头一天去邮局买了两张付Passport Delivery Fee的汇票$31.19
（会根据美加汇率浮动，以VAC网站公布价格为准），顺便拿了一软一硬两只大号
Priority信封。回家后从USPS官网上买一去一回两个Priority 2-Day label，在家DIY
方便快捷邮资还有折扣，一共$10.1，直接打印出来。软信封更大，可以装下硬信封，
所以把硬信封当做回邮信封使用。把MyCIC里passport request信（带有条码）打印出
来，完成VAC的consent表，加上护照，就是所有需要的文件。我们两人同时申请，所以
一共有6件材料。汇票本应寄到驻费城总领事馆，看到别人直接寄给VAC也没问题，为了
省事和省钱就一起寄VAC了。一共8件材料全部装在硬信封里，然后与另外一张写了我俩
联系方式的内容清单一起放入软信封，交寄。Priority服务速度挺快的：周五上午把邮
件投入邮筒，tracking显示周一下午投递成功。

关于行程安排
中国公民一般会得到最长10年的多次有效签证，逻辑上加拿大方不会对旅游行程太纠缠。
我随意写了一个行程，十分简单，比如“1日下午温哥华唐人街”这种，大约10行。
申请材料中除了签证表中的“加拿大联系人、机构”一栏填了一间加拿大酒店的名字地
址，没有提到其他具体的航班、酒店信息。 |

我以前都是在银行开的,有手续费. |
