Is there anyone who knows if it is possible to extend J-1 visa by changing
the school sponsor?
The situation is one of my friends who has been in one university of US as a
visiting scholar for almost 10 months.His visa is gonna expire soon. But he
still wants to keep his J-1 visa for another year without having his
current employer knowing about it in China. He can sponser by himself by
changing to another university as a visiting scholar.He may not stay in US
for the period.
Is there any limitation on J-1 extension? Any suggestions are welcomed.

often it keeps the same program number. |
