guess so as his graduation date is August 1). I'm here to deal with some
personal issues eg selling the house, etc. so may need to stay a few months
longer. Can I transfer my visa status to B2 or some other status? BTW, I had
been on H1B for a few years, I140 had been approved but got laid off and
had to change the status to F2 last year.
One more question: my husband needs to apply visa to come back in August,
the appointment date is August 3. Can he still apply F1 or does he have to
apply for B1 or some other visa type? He comes back just for personel/family
matters.

在转身份期间应该都是可以居留的, 这样即使转不成MM也可以有一些 buffer time去处
