翻了半天，居然找不到I797A的原件了，只有一份完整的复印件.......
不知道是不是可以打电话给USCIS要求再寄一份给我呢？请知道的指点下，万分感谢！ |

当时拿到的时候已经在电脑里已经有完整的扫描版本了，就是担心回去签证的时候被VO
刁难，真的可以
拿copy去申请H1B签证吗？

I cited the federal regulation that allows you to
present a copy of the I-797A or I-797B to the
consular officer.
You really don't need to present the original
copy since the consular officer will check your
petition in the PIMS database, i.e., they trust
the case files in the PIMS database, not the paper
in your hand, whether it is the original or a copy.
If you want a genuine replacement, you can't just
call USCIS. You need to file form I-824, and of
course you need to pay a fee pf $405. This only
replace the upper portion of the I-797A or the
entire I-797B, i.e., you essentially get an I-797B.
If you need a replacement of the I-94 that was
attached to the bottom of the I-797A, you need to
file I-102 and pay the fee ($330).

发帖数: 50 | 8 看情况吧。我清楚的记得上次就忘记带原件，签证官也没有说什么。入关的时候，海关
也没有说什么。
雇主应该把上面也给你的。

多谢了。咨询了公司律师，律师说他有多一份，会寄给我了。
不过我还遇到了真正的麻烦是来自中国的领事馆的，因为办宝宝的旅行证，领事馆要看
I797的原件！不然不给办！无语.........
