The Orem Police Department said the quadcopter drone was seized Saturday
morning when a man spotted it hovering near his window and followed the
unmanned aircraft to a church parking lot, where it landed without any sign
of the operator.
Police seized the drone and discovered it contained multiple videos of
unsuspecting residents as seen through the windows in their bathrooms and
bedrooms.
The drone also contained footage of its own operator, who police said is
known to investigators and has a previous conviction for voyeurism. |
