Honda Accord, Civic Still the Most Stolen Cars in America
The Honda Accord and Civic continue their reign as the most stolen vehicles
on the market.
According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, a total of 51,290 Honda
Accords were stolen in 2014, followed by 43,936 Honda Civics. In the third
spot are full-size Ford pickups with 28,680 units stolen, with Chevy pickup
trucks following in the fourth spot at 23,196.
The Toyota Camry sits in the fifth position with 14,605 units stolen,
followed by Dodge full-size pickups and the Dodge Caravan. The final three
most stolen vehicles in the top ten are the Nissan Altima (9,109), Acura
Integra (6,902) and the Nissan Maxima, which had 6,586 units stolen in 2014.

Stolen
This information comes from police reports collected from around the country
, while overall, vehicle theft is still on a downward trend according to
NICB.
NICB also put together of a most stolen 2014 model-year vehicle list, which
is topped by the 2014 Ford F-150. As for other new cars, the Toyota Camry,
Ford Fusion, Chevy Impala and Nissan Altima round out the top five model
year 2014 vehicles stolen last year.
